Bionix ear curettes with flashlight and LED lighting - 10pcs

To use the curette:
1. Position the patient comfortably on the examination table. Younger children may be seated on a parent’s lap during the procedure.
2. Using an otoscope, examine the ear canal, noting the presence and location of any foreign body or wax.
3. Straighten the ear canal by gently pulling the ear upward and away from the patient. Place the tip of the curette next to the obstruction or behind it if there is space between the obstruction and the ear wall.
4. Grasp the handle of the curette in the palm of your hand, placing your index finger on the trigger and pulling it backward. This will cause the tip to bend.
5. Hold the tip in the bent position and gently loosen the obstruction from the ear canal.
6. Use an otoscope to re-examine the ear canal, noting the presence and location of any
debris.
7. Repeat the above procedure as necessary until the tympanic membrane can be adequately visualized or the foreign body has been removed.
8. Remove the otoscope and discard the curette tip.
