HydroClean® advance 5.5cm effectively cleanses the wound and activates the healing process. The contact layer of the wound consists of a polypropylene knit to which silicone tapes are applied. On the non-wound side, an impermeable polypropylene membrane covered with hydrophobic non-woven polypropylene prevents premature drying of the bandages. HydroClean advance delivers the Ringer solution to the wound for up to three days. During this time, interactive and continuous irrigation of the wound is carried out as the dressing also absorbs the exudate of the wound.
