The story of Rösch & Handel began in Vienna in 1890, in the pharmacy “Zur Mutter Gottes”. Back then, the company was called Gimborn & Zifferer and produced medicines and pharmaceutical products that have stood the test of time: Warzin for the treatment of warts, Helopanflat coated tablets, Silverin Silver Nitrate Applicators and glycerin suppositories. And so began its rise as a manufacturer of high-quality pharmaceutical products that were trusted by doctors and pharmacists far beyond the city limits of Vienna – for example when it came to the treatment of gastric acid deficiency, enzyme deficiency, warts and other symptoms. Since BANO Healthcare GmbH took over the Rösch & Handel product range in 2014, it has focused on adapting its products to new standards, updating its market presence, expanding its own sales structures and quality control based on ISO 13485:2016.
