The international Menarini Pharmaceutical Group began its operations in Greece in 1989 by acquiring 70% of DAMBERGIS S.A., a traditional pharmaceutical industry with a presence in Greece since 1935. In 1996, the Menarini Group acquired 100% of the Share Capital of DAMBERGIS S.A., renaming its subsidiary in Greece to Menarini Hellas S.A. From 1989 until today, the company has launched many original pharmaceutical preparations on the Pharmaceutical Market, mainly in the cardiovascular and respiratory system categories, but also in other important therapeutic categories. The company’s successful course over the years has established Menarini Hellas as a dynamic company in the Pharmaceutical Market, which is already among the largest Pharmaceutical companies in Greece, currently employing 280 employees.
