In 2021, Ambu conducted its first ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) materiality assessment to identify the most important and significant areas. In developing the materiality assessment process, we drew inspiration from best practice methods recommended by trusted benchmarking organizations and best-in-class companies. This resulted in a 6-step process that was carried out during the first six months of 2021. As a global and growing company, Ambu must ensure compliance with national and international guidelines and standards. Ambu’s policy is to maintain the highest ethical standards and comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and local customary practices. To achieve this, several initiatives, frameworks and policies have already been put in place or are in progress.
