The Omron Kardia 6L portable cardiograph is the world’s first FDA-cleared 6-lead personal electrocardiogram. In seconds, it records medical-quality heart data directly to your phone and provides instant analysis of your electrocardiogram. The Omron Kardia 6L portable cardiograph can detect atrial fibrillation (AFib), bradycardia, tachycardia, and normal sinus rhythm. For an even broader range of arrhythmia detection – including PVCs, SVE, and Wide QRS – you can pair the cardiograph with a KardiaCare subscription (not required). It has two electrodes on the top for your fingers or thumbs and one on the bottom to contact the skin of your left foot. These three electrode placements allow it to record a 6-lead ECG. The Omron Kardia 6L portable cardiograph records ECG leads I, II, III, aVL, aVR, and aVF. It is one of the few personal electrocardiograms that records six leads of cardiac data, while many smartwatches and wearables record only one lead. The more leads recorded, the more detailed the picture of your heart rhythm. Some arrhythmias can only be detected with additional electrocardiogram leads.
