The semi-automatic model proceeds in 3 steps before defibrillation:

1. checking the patient’s ECG
2. if a pulse is detected, then the device automatically starts charging the defibrillator capacitor
3. the defibrillator with a voice message suggests to the user to press the shock button in order to deliver the defibrillation energy

What is the difference between Smarty Saver and Smarty Saver Plus:

The Smarty Saver Plus defibrillator has metronome with indications for the quality and frequency of compressions, dictating to the rescuer to change or maintain his rhythm with the help of the CPR Quality Sensor (autonomy of 2 hours of continuous use) which when in operation automatically connects to the defibrillator via Bluetooth.

The CPR quality sensor is designed to optimize the completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation by providing simple and accurate answers to the rescuer, in real time! The LED bar placed on the AED keypad will indicate the accuracy of the compression depth while the audible metronome will indicate the correct compression rate, along with voice prompts.
